The Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce (“TRCAC”) Placement and Higher Education Cell was started in the Academic Year 2017-18. The TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell is one of the most important committees of TRCAC, believing in providing promising career opportunities to young students graduating from TRCAC. The TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell acts as a strong link and facilitator between potential recruiters, corporate houses, non-governmental organisations, and students in order to ensure that our students get placements on campus.

The members of the TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell, have since its inception, played an important role in providing diverse opportunities to our students to explore and participate in the practical aspects of the theoretical concepts studied during their graduation through internships as well as research assignments. In the past, diverse entities have collaborated with the TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell in providing opportunities to our students.

At TRCAC, the Placement and Higher Education Cell is committed to empower students with pre- placement skills that ensure best placements. We offer internships to all our students, across all our programmes, that enhances their awareness of the world of work, accelerates personal maturity, self- awareness and ability to articulate skills and achievements thereby creating competitive people.

TRCAC takes pride in stating that its students are offered internship opportunities with renowned corporate houses that have assisted the students in identifying and achieving their own personal potential. Ever since the inception in Academic Year 2018-2019, over 16 students of TRCAC were selected for internships by Future Generali Group, across all our programmes. In the academic year 2020-21, TRCAC placement team secured internships with various organisations, namely, SuccessR, where 20 students got selected for internships. Warp and Woof, a management consultancy, provided internships for 6 students. The Unicorn People selected our students for internships. Odd Events, an event management company selected 6 students for internships. We registered with Internshaala, as a result of which 41 students of TRCAC secured internships with various companies, across all our programmes.

TRCAC takes pride in declaring that its students have been placed with renowned corporate houses. In the very first placement academic year 2020-21, TRCAC placement team secured job opportunities with various organisations, namely, ERTC Media, where our first student was selected. Students from IT and CS batches got placed in reputed companies like Wipro Pvt Ltd and L&T Infotech. Students were also placed with TalentServe Pvt Ltd. Ongoing placement activities across all our programmes are helping students secure placements with various companies like Harjai Computers, Altres Technologies and Netcore Solutions.

1. An important component of the TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell is its heavy emphasis upon providing professional and soft-skills training and development of our students.

2. Apart from academic importance, TRCAC believes in the need to provide training to its students to be able to efficiently and effectively undertake the work assignments that are part of their internships and placements.

3. Over the years, the TRCAC Placement and Higher Education Cell has collaborated with different professionals and trainers to engage with our students and equip them with suitable, required professional skills.

4. TRCAC placement cell arranged for student skills development seminars like resume building, interview etiquettes and grooming sessions for students across all programmes.

5. Aptitude development and technical training was conducted for the students of TRCAC.

Training Model

The Training Model is always an important factor for all the students. The effectiveness of these 3 years of student grooming is vital for a student’s success in both career and life. A balance of knowledge and life skills can play a vital role in the success of students.

1) Student Development Programme - Student Development Programme is one of the programme developed by TRCAC for the First Year students with an objective to enhance students' overall personality & performance and creates awareness about the professional ethics with a view to empower students by imbibing the qualities of decision making, self-confidence, aptitude training and good communication skills.

2) Pre-Placement Training - The Pre-Placement Training is designed to empower students with the prerequisite skills to be employable and be ready for the placements from the Second Year itself by having rigorous practical training sessions on the aptitude model.

3) This model is customized - This model is customized with a blend of company specific requirements to be trained and skills to the students employable for the recruiters to grab the better opportunity in the industry..
