Aashayein
N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce in association with SOVO IDF has initiated a project named as Aashayein, to help the underprivileged students & Zilla Parishad schools of the rural areas in Dahanu, Vangaon, Malad, and Birsa Munda Bal Gurukul Borivali by giving them an Educational Kit consisting of a school bag , notebooks, pencil and eraser box and colors with a motto to educate every individual in collaboration with IDF. Teams who were present voluntarily in event for packaging and distributing. Successfully we distributed around 800 educational kits to the childrens. (Event Date: 29th June 2024)

Drug Awareness Campaign
National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) Unit guided by Borivali Police, made a profound impact through their participation in the World Drug Awareness campaign with an aim to create awareness among society about pros and cons of drugs on health. NSS The volunteers collaborated seamlessly, captivating the public with a compelling skit and actively engaging in a rally alongside the Dahisar Police Force (Event Date : 26th June 2024)
Beach Cleanup Drive - Velankanni Beach, Uttan
Beach Cleanup Drive at Velankanni Beach, Uttan was organized by N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce with an objective to promote awareness among society about clean,safe and healthy environment. (Event Date : 23rd June 2024)

Akshay Vidya- Million Dreams in Every Book
In an inspiring act of generosity, the NSS Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College, in collaboration with AkshayShakti, have brought knowledge and joy to underprivileged children in Dahanu by donating over 1 lakh books. University Yoga Camp
N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce had participated in Yoga camp organized by the National Service Scheme Cell, University of Mumbai, Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute for a 5-day of Yoga training camp from 17th to 21st June, 2024 at Ishwardas Chunilal Yogic Health Centre, Charni Road. The training camp was of 3 days, basic yoga training as per CYP provided as prescribed by AAYUSH from the experts of Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. The session aimed to create basic yogic skills and also to know the science behind Yoga. The program helped the participants to restore balance in life, helping to strengthen our body and mind, regain our focus and improve self-confidence. (Event Date : 17th June 2024 - 21st June 2024)
Vriksropan Samaroh : World Environment Day
N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce had organized a Tree Plantation Event in the campus itself. The volunteers planted saplings in the campus along with faculty members. Volunteers and faculties were very enthusiastic and also pledged to make our environment as clean and green. (Event Date : 05th June 2024)

“चुनाव का पर्व, देश का गर्व” ELECTION DAY VOLUNTEERING
N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce in association with the Election Commission, volunteered at 153 Dahisar Vidhan Sabha booth to assist in the smooth functioning of the election process. Volunteers were deployed on Booth duty to assist Divyang and senior citizens to enjoy their right to vote. (Event Date : 20th May 2024)
“चुनाव का पर्व, देश का गर्व” VOTER AWARENESS DRIVE
N.S.S Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce in association with University of Mumbai has organised a Voter Awareness Drive to educate the local community about the importance of voting. This initiative was to encourage community members to participate actively in the upcoming elections. The volunteers showed enthusiasm and commitment throughout the drive, engaging with community members and promoting the importance of their civic duty to vote. The event was carried out in the areas of 153 Dahisar Vidhan Sabha and also in Mira Bhayander Area. (Event Date :19th May 2024)

SWACHATA SENANI AWARD - 2024 by Ocean Owe Foundation
N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce received an appreciation award from Ocean Owe Foundation on 27th April 2024 for its regular and continuous participation in beach cleanup drives for the year 2023-24. The beach cleanup activities were initiated by Mira Bhayander Mahanagar Palika under the Swachh Mira Bhayander program. (Event Date: 27th April 2024)

Avoid “ME” -Plastic Bag event was organized by N.S.S. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce to create awareness for avoiding usage of plastic bags and instill the habit to use paper bags.
